On March 21, 2024, during the ceremonial gala of the 14th edition of the LIDER Programme, our staff member, Dr Eng. Damian Harasim from the Department of Electronics and Information Technologies, received a commemorative diploma and a symbolic cheque from the hands of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs Krzysztof Gawkowski PhD, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Prof. Marek Gzik, and Acting Director of the National Centre for Research and Development Prof. Jerzy Małachowski.

The main objective of the LIDER Programme, launched in 2009, is to enhance competencies in independent planning, management, and leadership of a research team through the implementation of research projects whose results may have practical applications and demonstrate commercialization potential. The LIDER Programme builds a strong foundation for strengthening the competitiveness of Polish science and the new generation of Polish researchers on a European and global scale.
