Sylwester Adamek is a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Lublin University of Technology, specialising in power engineering. In 2001, he took up work as an assistant in the Department of Electrical Networks and Protections. In 2010, he obtained the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of Lublin University of Technology. He is currently employed as an assistant professor.
His scientific interests focus on issues related to the operation of electrical networks, modelling of power systems, analysis of the operation of generation sources, safety of the use of electrical equipment, as well as operation and measurements in power engineering. He is the co-author of 27 domestic and international publications on this subject, as well as more than 50 scientific and research works carried out on behalf of various entities. He has participated in the implementation of 6 research projects.
