The Department of Power Engineering encouraged students interested in power engineering, protection automation and the operation of secondary circuits to take part in the lecture entitled “Construction and Operation of Power System Protection Automation Systems”.
The lecture was delivered by Tomasz Pakuła, Chief Specialist at the Secondary Circuits Operation Department in Radom, representing Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A.
The topic of the lecture was particularly relevant for students who wanted to learn more about the practical aspects of power system operation and the role of protection systems in ensuring the reliability and security of electricity supply.
The event also included a section devoted to internship and traineeship opportunities at PSE S.A. Information on career development was presented by Agnieszka Woronowicz, Head of the Human Resources Management Department.
The lecture provided a valuable opportunity to connect academic content with the practical work of a transmission system operator. It was addressed in particular to students of electrical engineering, power engineering, automation and technical systems operation.
