Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin (UMCS) is the largest public university in Poland on the eastern side of the Vistula River. It was founded in 1944. UMCS offers education at 12 faculties in Lublin, nearly 90 study programs, and around 300 specializations. In total, nearly 16,000 students study at UMCS, including more than 1,700 international students representing 60 countries.
