During May 10-17, a visit by eight researchers and students from Japan took place as part of Task 2: Study Visits of Students/Young Scientists, Researchers, and Mentors in Poland. The guests, representing Seikei University, Kyushu University, Saga University, and Kanazawa Institute of Technology, visited Lublin University of Technology, where they met with university authorities and delivered a series of lectures on their research activities and student life in Japan. Meetings with students proved particularly fruitful. The intensive program included a tour of the university campus, including the KETT laboratories, the Lublin University of Technology Library, and the Lublin University of Technology Museum, as well as participation in demonstration scientific experiments conducted at KETT. The Japanese researchers also visited the universities of the Supporting Partners: the University of Life Sciences in Lublin (UPL) and Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS). A particularly enjoyable and intellectually enriching highlight was their visit to the UMCS Botanical Garden.

The guests also took part in highly engaging intercultural educational, artistic, and scientific workshops at the Gardzienice Gallery. In addition, their visit to the Gardzienice Centre for Theatre Practices, combined with attendance at the performances The Wedding (Wesele) and Iphigenia in T. (Ifigenia w T.), left a profound impression on them.
