Mission and vision of the Faculty

The mission of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the Lublin University of Technology is to educate highly qualified and creative specialists for the needs of the knowledge-based economy and to conduct the highest quality scientific research in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, energy, mechatronics, electrotechnology, automatics, materials and biomedical engineering, electronics and telecommunications, contributing to the development of an innovative economy and an increase in the level of education.

 We strive for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of the Lublin University of Technology to be a unit that:

 provides education at the European level adapted to the needs of the labour market;

• fully uses its scientific and research potential, possessed infrastructure and human resources to carry out research and development works at a high level;
• has an organisational structure optimally adapted to perform tasks;
• has a fully integrated IT system supporting the process of education, management and scientific development in all areas of activity;
• has a professional, efficient administration;
• has an objective system of evaluating and rewarding employees and a task-based system of financing organisational units;
• fulfills the social mission of the University by supporting the development of student culture, academic sports, student entrepreneurship and the development of innovation in the region;
• combines development activities with respect for academic traditions.
